Terms & Conditions

1. About Kuvala Hub

Kuvala Hub (“Kuvala”, “we”, “us”) is a multi-vendor fashion marketplace operating in Zambia. We connect independent boutiques, designers and resellers (“Sellers”) with shoppers (“Buyers”). Kuvala is the platform and payment escrow provider — we are not the seller of the goods listed unless explicitly stated.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older, or have parental consent, to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable Zambian law.

3. Orders, pricing & currency

  • All prices are shown in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) and set by the Seller.
  • An order is a binding offer; the contract of sale is between you and the Seller once payment is captured.
  • Kuvala may cancel obviously mispriced or fraudulent listings.

4. Escrow-protected payments

Payments are processed by our licensed payment partner and held in escrow by Kuvala. Funds are released to the Seller after the Buyer confirms delivery, or automatically after the auto-release window (typically 3 days after delivery) if no dispute is opened.

5. Delivery

Sellers are responsible for dispatching orders within the timeframe stated on the listing. Delivery is fulfilled by the Seller or their nominated courier within Zambia. Estimated delivery windows are indicative, not guaranteed.

6. Seller obligations

  • List only genuine items you are legally allowed to sell.
  • Provide accurate photos, sizing and condition information.
  • Honour the price and stock shown at checkout.
  • Pay the Kuvala commission and payment fees deducted at payout.

7. Prohibited items

Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, hazardous materials, weapons, tobacco, alcohol, and any item restricted under Zambian law may not be listed. Violations lead to removal and account termination.

8. Reviews & content

Buyers may leave honest reviews of purchased items. You grant Kuvala a non-exclusive licence to display content you upload (photos, reviews, shop copy) on the platform and in related marketing.

9. Liability

Kuvala provides the marketplace “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality, safety or legality of items listed by Sellers, nor for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Disputes that cannot be resolved through the Kuvala dispute process shall be submitted to the competent courts of Lusaka.
